Two movies

Last night the Photography Department hosted an exhibition of their work to the public at a screening of "Annie Liebowitz: Life through a lens"
This afternoon PR showed their first years "The lord of the flies"
One year and one month since I got here, things are beginning to happen.

Weclome to PR

Good news is that the Department of Public Relations has joined us since 1 August.
I had a really good afternoon with them yesterday and I look forward to really exciting stuff.
I am going to ask them to play a significant role in a project called "From 0 to a brand in one year"
Welcome then to Prof Johann van der Merwe and his team. We look forward to an exciting time of growth together.

One week, two prizes

So, on Saturday night Megan Barnfather won a LOERIE with her "Wellies Shoebox".
And then we also won one of four SAPPI "Ideas that matter" awards.
